According to the press service of the Health Ministry, 68 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 5,561.
As of 10:00 a.m., June 17, the number of infection cases stands at 5,561 (+68),” the ministry’s statement reads.
It is noted that 62 new cases of infection were recorded in the quarantine center, 6 – in the Surkhandarya region.
So far, 4,096 people have fully recovered from the disease, 19 people died.
Currently, 1,446 people are undergoing treatment at medical facilities. 13 of the patients are in critical condition.
