60,900 people quarantined after returning from regions with adverse epidemic situation or contacting patients
In Uzbekistan, the condition of coronavirus patients is as following: 7 – in critical condition, 19 – in severe condition, 221 – moderate and 2084 – stable. 149 patients suffer from pneumonia.
This was reported by the First Deputy Director of the Agency for Sanitary and Epidemiological Wellbeing, Botirjon Kurbonov, at a briefing held at the AIMC.
“Medical staff continues to monitor the health condition of 60,941 citizens who have come from regions with adverse epidemic situation or contacted infected individuals. Of these, 38,187 are quarantined at home, 22,754 – under stationary conditions,” he said.
Botirjon Kurbonov also reported that virological laboratories conduct 21,148 tests each day, which brings it to 1,121,236 tests since the beginning of the pandemic.
