According to the press service of the Health Ministry, 61 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 7,551.
As of 17:00, June 26, the number of infection cases stands at 7,551 (+61),” the ministry’s statement reads.
It is noted that 38 new cases were detected in the quarantine center.
In addition, 22 residents of the capital and one resident of the Tashkent region tested positive for the disease. 12 cases in Tashkent were identified among the population.
So far, 5,063 people have fully recovered from the disease, 20 people died.
Currently, 2,468 people are undergoing treatment at medical facilities.
