According to the press service of the Health Ministry, 168 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 8,199.
As of 17:00, June 29, the number of infection cases stands at 8,199 (+168),” the ministry’s statement reads.
It is noted that 151 new cases were recorded in the quarantine center, 9 – in the Bukhara region, 7 – in Tashkent, 1 – in the Jizzakh region.
So far, 5,426 people have fully recovered from the disease, 23 people died.
Currently, 2,750 people are undergoing treatment at medical facilities.
