Tashkent to receive 500 electric vehicles to perform taxi services 

Electric cars are expected to perform taxi services in Tashkent. The capital’s administration reported.

It is noted that for this purpose, 500 electric vehicles have been purchased.

A single charge is enough for 540 km of driving on the highway, 419 km – in urban places, the report reads. The approximate cost of a car, depending on the model, ranges from $23,000 to $25,000.

It is planned to create ten charging stations in Tashkent for the vehicles. Charging takes 30 minutes.
