Former Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Japan Mirsobit Ochilov dies
Mirsobit Ochilov, advisor to the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade on cooperation with Japan, passed away, the Ministry reports.
“Former head of the Uzbek Embassy in Japan Mirsobit Ochilov died on July 2, 2020,” the ministry’s report reads.
“He has a bright history of service. Mirsobit Ochilov was a role model in everything he did. He served as deputy of the Oliy Majlis, elected in the parliamentary elections of 1999; he was a professor and Doctor of Economic Sciences, First Rector of the Banking and Finance Academy, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Minister of the 1st Class, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Japan in 2001-2009,” the ministry said.
The staff of the Ministry expressed deep condolences to the family of the deceased.
