Uzbekistan appoints new Ambassador to the UAE

On February 19, 2019, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Arab Emirates, Bakhtiyor Ibrahimov, departed from the city of Tashkent to Sharjah, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.

Bakhtiyor Ibrahimov previously worked as head of a department at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates established diplomatic relations on October 25, 1992.
