In Tashkent, an elderly man died from coronavirus infection, the press service of the Ministry of Health reported.
On July 1, a 65-year-old man was admitted to the intensive care unit of the city clinical hospital No. 1 in critical condition and was connected to a ventilator.
He was diagnosed with hypertension, atherosclerosis, recurrent stroke and hemorrhagic stroke.
“Despite efforts to save his life, the patient died of pulmonary embolism, acute respiratory failure and heart failure on July 3,” the report said.
The man from Tashkent became the 30th victim of coronavirus in Uzbekistan.
