Mild tremors felt in Uzbekistan as 5.5 magnitude earthquake jolted Tajikistan
Mild tremors were felt in Uzbekistan on July 4 at 14:52, after an earthquake of magnitude 5.5 jolted Tajikistan, the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring under the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
According to the RCSPM, the depth of the quake was 10 km, coordinates: 38.92 degrees north latitude; 70.99 degrees east longitude.
The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 301 km in a southeast direction.

“In other regions of Uzbekistan, seismic activity was not felt. Information about the casualties and injuries was not reported,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations noted.
