Deputy khokim fined after neglecting entrepreneur’s appeal
Recently, the manager of a farm located in the Shahrizabz district, Kashkadarya region, appealed to the Office of the Business Ombudsman to restore his violated rights.
According to UzA, an appeal was sent to Shahrizabz district khokimiyat on May 21 of this year in order to provide the farm with appropriate practical assistance. The Deputy Khokim of the District for Agriculture and Water Management was responsible for executing the appeal.
However, the Deputy khokim ignored the appeal, which indicated that the relevant information on the application should be made available no later than May 28.
According to the law, state bodies and other organizations and their officials are obliged to assist the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in his or her activities and to provide, when requested, documents, materials and other information related to the rights and legitimate interests of business entities not later than 10 days from the request date (unless another time limit is specified).
For such negligence, an administrative charge was brought against the deputy khokim, and the Shahrisabz District Administrative Court fined the official on June 24.
