Total of 208 pregnant women diagnosed with coronavirus in Uzbekistan during pandemic
Agency for Information and Mass Communications reported this at a briefing.
During the pandemic, more than 3,000 pregnant women were quarantined, and 208 of them tested positive for coronavirus.
In addition, to date, more than 45,000 children under the age of 18 have been quarantined, and 328 were reported to have coronavirus infection.
It was also reported that the increase in morbidity and mortality from coronavirus has forced the government to tighten quarantine measures.
Due to this, new restrictions will be imposed starting July 10, including restrictions for the movement of vehicles and holding weddings as well as other family celebrations.
