167 more people test positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, death toll reaches 47
According to the daily report of the Ministry of Health, 167 more people have tested positive for coronavirus.
“As of 10:00 a.m., July 9, the number of infection cases stands at 11,259 (+167),” the statement said.
It is noted that 64 new cases have been identified in the quarantine center, 64 – in Tashkent, 3 – in the Fergana region, 11 – in Kashkadarya, 9 – in Namangan and 16 – in the Jizzakh region.
So far, 7,060 people have recovered from the disease, 47 died. Currently, 4,152 people are undergoing treatment at medical facilities. The condition of 31 patients is serious, another 12 are in critical condition.
