“Many people have misunderstood the easing of quarantine measures” – Nurmat Otabekov
In Uzbekistan, many people have misunderstood the easing of quarantine measures introduced to combat the coronavirus. Therefore, the number of people infected with the virus among the general public has been increasing recently.
Chief Sanitary Inspector of the Republic Nurmat Otabekov made this statement at a briefing at the Agency for Information and Mass Communications.
According to him, the sanitary-epidemiological situation in the world is becoming progressively serious. If the measures are not strengthened, the situation in the republic may become even more complicated.
“Many people have misunderstood the easing of quarantine measures. And if we continue in the same manner, the situation may become even more complicated,” Nurmat Otabekov said.
It should be noted that the quarantine measures will be strengthened again starting July 10 until August 1 by the decision of the Special Republican Commission.
