Mild tremors felt in Uzbekistan as 4.7 magnitude earthquake jolted Afghanistan
According to the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring under the Ministry of Emergency Situations, mild tremors were felt in Uzbekistan on July 14, at 12:34, after an earthquake of 4.7 magnitude jolted Afghanistan.
According to the RCSPM, the depth of the quake was 10 km, coordinates: 39.96 degrees north latitude; 69.31 degrees east longitude.
The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 145 km.
The quake was recorded in the following regions of Uzbekistan:
• Namangan: 496 km, 2 points;
• Andijan: 485 km, 2 points;
• Fergana: 431 km, 2 points;
• Guliston: 471 km, 2 points;
• Jizzakh: 473 km, 2 points;
• Samarkand: 483 km, 2 points;
• Termez: 326 km, 2 points;
• Karshi: 513 km, 2 points.
