Mild earthquake hits Fergana Valley
Mild tremors were felt in Uzbekistan on July 21, at 10:08, after an earthquake of 3.8 magnitude jolted Kyrgyzstan, the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring under the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
According to the RCSPM, the depth of the quake was 10 km, coordinates: 40.17 degrees north latitude; 71.46 degrees east longitude.
The distance from the epicenter of the earthquake to Tashkent is 225 km south-east.
The quake was recorded in the following regions of Uzbekistan:
Namangan: 94 km, 2 points.
Andijan: 101 km, 2 points.
Fergana: 36 km, 4 points.
