Shavkat Mirziyoyev awards posthumous Medal of Courage to six people for fighting COVID-19
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed the decree on awarding a group of compatriots, who have shown dedication in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
The list of awardees included medical workers, employees of the police department, the Ministries of Defense, Emergency Situations and the National Guard.
Six of them were posthumously awarded the Medal of Courage (“Jasorat”):
Jumaniyazova Zulfiya Yuldashevna – senior nurse of the neurological department at the Karakalpak branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care;
Nafasov Shavkat Nasirovich – head of the main department for migration and registration of citizenship of the MIA;
Tukhtayeva Feruza Askarovna – senior nurse of the Almazar district family polyclinic No. 18, Tashkent city;
Uralov Alisher Tashkuvatovich – doctor of ultrasound diagnostics of the Yakkasaray central polyclinic, Tashkent city;
Khamrakulov Botir Jabborovich – deputy director for medical work at the Jizzakh Branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care;
Shamakhmudov Alokhon Abzalovich – deputy head of the department of financial and material-technical support of the Tashkent city police department.
