Two trucks burnt down, driver killed in a car accident in Jasliq
The accident occurred on July 23 on the territory of the Jasliq settlement, Kungrad district, the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
According to the investigators, the 26-year-old driver of the DAF FT XF 105 truck, lost control over the vehicle and drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with the Volvo truck, driven by a Ukrainian citizen. Then, he collided with another Volvo truck, also driven by a citizen of Ukraine.
In the second collision, when DAF FT XF 105 hit Volvo truck, they both caught fire and were completely burned down. The 26-year-old man died at the scene.
The investigation department has instituted criminal proceedings under Article 266 of the Criminal Code on the case.
