“Quarantine measures will be gradually abolished” – Senate Chairperson
On August 7, at the VI plenary session of the Senate of Oliy Majlis, the Senate Chairperson Tanzila Narbayeva expressed views on the coronavirus pandemic.
“People around the world are going through a difficult time today. No state, not even the most powerful countries, was ready for such a situation. The coronavirus pandemic is becoming a serious test for people, industries and systems.
In general, today we have to go through non-standard work processes for our country and non-standard way of life for our people. In the process of our real endurance and testing, we are becoming more and more convinced of one thing – Uzbekistan has created a solid economic and political base, which helps to overcome the most difficult trials without major losses,” Tanzila Narbayeva said.
Continuing her speech, the Senate Chairperson spoke about the end of the pandemic, the gradual abolition of quarantine measures.
“The current challenges will definitely pass. The pandemic will also end. But no one can guarantee that there will be no such difficulties in the future. Therefore, we believe that it is necessary to adapt procedures in all areas to such conditions.
Quarantine measures will now be eased. We need to intensify the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among the population, it is necessary to return the sick to a normal life, along with the treatment of patients on the basis of developed protocols. At the same time, improving our laws is one of our top priorities,” Narbayeva noted.
