Tura Bobolov has returned to his duty as khokim of the Surkhandarya region after recovering from coronavirus, the press service of the regional administration reported.
“Khokim of the Surkhandarya region Tura Bobolov has recovered from coronavirus and returned to Termez from Tashkent after treatment,” the statement said.
At the international airport of Termez, the khokim held a meeting with sector leaders and other officials, exchanged views on the consistent continuation of reforms in the region, the prevention of the coronavirus pandemic and the protection of public health, the press service noted.
For information, the press service of the Health Ministry announced that Bobolov had contracted the virus on July 18.
