Uzbekistan exported gold for $3.2 billion in January-July

In January-July 2020, Uzbekistan exported gold worth $3.2 billion. This is evidenced by the State Statistics Committee data.
According to the committee, the increase compared to January-July 2019 was 95.3%. In January-July 2020, the share of gold in exports amounted to 39.8%.
It should be noted that in recent years, Uzbekistan has increased gold exports. It exceeded $823.9 million in 2015, $738.2 million in 2016, $1.6 billion in 2017, $2.91 billion in 2018 and more than $4.9 billion in 2019.
Earlier, Uzbekistan’s gold export volume for the first half of the year was announced.
