Two people killed in an accident on Kamchik pass
A fire broke out, the driver and one passenger in the car died on the spot.
On August 25 at around 16:24, a traffic accident occurred on the 222.3 km of the A-373 Tashkent – Osh highway.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the driver of an Isuzu truck moving en route Fergana Valley – Tashkent lost control and bumped into an iron barrier in the middle of the road.
As a result, a fire broke out and the driver and one passenger in the car died on the spot.
When this situation was clarified, it was identified that the truck’s trunk contained 8 tons of construction raw material, i.e. a chemical solution added to the concrete.

Personnel and special equipment headed by the chair of the Kamchik Special Search, Fire and Rescue Department Colonel Kh. Bobonov immediately arrived at the scene.
As a result of the rapid efforts of firefighters, the fire was extinguished in a short period of time, the report reads.
