Special Commission explains the procedure for crossing the Uzbek-Kyrgyz border
On September 1, 2020, restrictions on entry and exit at checkpoints on the state border between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan have been lifted.

The Special Republican Commission has clarified the procedure for crossing the Uzbek-Kyrgyz state border:
• Persons who have been in the territory of Kyrgyzstan for the past 14 days, or with a certificate of negative results for coronavirus tests, will not be quarantined upon entry into the territory of Uzbekistan;
• Citizens of Uzbekistan who visited Kyrgyzstan and didn’t leave the territory of the country for other states will not be quarantined upon return;
• In any case other than those described in the third and fourth paragraphs, people entering the territory of Uzbekistan will be placed under quarantine in accordance with the established procedure.
