“Disinfectants will be supplied to schools by local khokimiyats” – MPE
The regional khokimiyats are responsible for providing schools with disinfectants and antiseptics.
Lists of various sanitary items required from teachers to organize school activities in the pandemic environment went viral on social networks. The Ministry of Public Education has issued an official comment on this issue.
It was noted that this and other matters were discussed at a videoconference chaired by the President on the preparation for the academic year in secondary public schools. The relevant ministries have been instructed to purchase pyrometers and dispensers for schools and deliver them to the regions. The regional khokimiyats are responsible for providing schools with disinfectants and antiseptics.
Also, in accordance with the presidential decree “On additional measures to improve the management system of public education”, local authorities will provide support to public education institutions, in particular, for the organization and coordination of assistance to secondary schools in regions.
“Therefore, we would like to inform you that none of the disinfectants used in the organization of the educational process in schools are purchased by teachers, and parents are encouraged to provide their children with medical masks and personal antiseptics to ensure that they follow hygiene rules,” the statement reads.
It was noted that in the context of the pandemic, pyrometers, disinfectants, dispensers and antiseptics will be delivered to secondary public schools in a centralized manner.
“Dear teachers, we ask you to contact law enforcement agencies if such a situation is observed in your schools,” the ministerial report said.
