Young mother in Fergana attempts to sell her baby for $1,500
She was detained red-handed by officers of the Internal Affairs Department and the National Guard while receiving the initial part of the payment.
According to the Investigation Department, on September 1, during an operational event on Sharof Rashidov Street in Fergana, a 24-year-old mother, who planned to sell her one-year-old child for $1,500, was detained by the officers of the Internal Affairs Department and the National Guard when receiving $500.


The Investigation Department initiated criminal proceedings under Article 135-3a of the Criminal Code and the detainee was implicated as a suspect.
