Yangikhayot district established in Tashkent
2,131.2 hectares of land in Tashkent and 2,288.4 hectares in the Tashkent region will be allocated for the formation of the Yangikhayot district.
On September 8, the following session of the Senate of Oliy Majlis was held. Deputies considered the issue of changing the borders of Zangiota, Kuyi Chirchik, Yangiyul and Urta Chirchik districts of the Tashkent region, Sergeli and Bektemir districts of the city of Tashkent. Also, the creation of Yangikhayot district in Tashkent was considered.
According to the press service of the Senate, this issue, introduced in accordance with the instructions given by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his visit to the Sergeli district of Tashkent on May 29, 2020, provides for the creation of decent conditions for the population.
As noted, 2,131.2 hectares of land in the city of Tashkent, including 1,864.2 hectares from the Sergeli district and 267.0 hectares from the Bektemir district and 2,288.4 hectares in the Tashkent region, that is, 492.0 hectares from the Zangiota district, 128.7 hectares from the Kuyi Chirchik district., 264.4 hectares from the Yangiyul district and 1,403.3 hectares from the Urta Chirchik district will be allocated for the formation of the Yangikhayot district.
