May Uzbekistan tighten quarantine measures again from October 15? Otabekov answers
At a briefing on September 15, Anti-Coronavirus Staff member Nurmat Otabekov answered a question whether or not Uzbekistan will re-introduce strict quarantine measures from October 15.

“First of all, it should be noted that quarantine measures have not been abolished in our country, but they have been relaxed.
Nevertheless, as a result of people being careless and not being able to assess the situation properly, the number of infection cases is still on the rise.
One thing to keep in mind is that strengthening and easing quarantine measures depends on our behavior. If we ignore quarantine and restrictive measures, forget preventive measures, do not follow the recommendations of specialist doctors, then we will cause an increase in the disease and the Special Republican Commission will be forced to make a decision on strengthening the lockdown measures again,” Nurmat Otabekov said.
