Two dead, one injured in a traffic accident in Samarkand
The incident took place on the morning of September 16 on the Samarkand-Bukhara highway, which passes through the territory of the Yobu mahalla, Pakhtachi district, Samarkand region.
According to the Investigation Department, the truck driver, 26, crashed into the rear part of a Lacetti car.
As a result of the crash, one passenger of the Lacetti, 70, died of his injuries at the scene.
Other passengers of the car, 68 and 42, were taken to the hospital with injuries, where the former died, despite the efforts of doctors.


The Investigation Department initiated criminal proceedings. The preliminary investigation into the case is currently ongoing.
