Uzbekistan considerably increases gold exports
In January-August 2020, the share of gold in exports amounted to 50%.

In January-August 2020, Uzbekistan exported $5.8 billion worth of gold, follows from the data of the State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, compared to January-August 2019, the growth was 147.2%. In January-August 2020, the share of gold in Uzbekistan’s total exports amounted to 50%.
It should be noted that in recent years, Uzbekistan has increased gold exports. It exceeded $823.9 million in 2015, $738.2 million in 2016, $1.6 billion in 2017, $2.91 billion in 2018 and $4.9 billion in 2019.
