CBU to publish rating of banks based on customer surveys
The Board of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan has approved a methodology for assessing the quality of banking services rendered in commercial banks, the press service of the regulator said.
Based on this methodology, the Central Bank will assess the quality of services provided in banks by conducting periodic surveys among customers. The results of the study will be published on the official website and pages of the Central Bank in social networks.
The new methodology is expected to serve to identify gaps and eliminate existing systemic deficiencies in banking services, as well as increase the responsibility of banks in fulfilling their obligations.
