Man on Interpol's wanted list for fraud detained at Tashkent Airport
In cooperation with Interpol channels, officers of the National Central Bureau of Interpol Uzbekistan have detained a citizen accused of large-scale fraud upon his arrival at Tashkent International Airport.

According to reports, the Uzbek citizen, who had been deported from the United Arab Emirates, was apprehended at Tashkent International Airport by officers from the National Central Bureau. At the request of Uzbek law enforcement authorities, he had been placed on the international wanted list for charges of large-scale fraud.
A criminal case had previously been initiated against the suspect, but he fled abroad to evade investigation. Consequently, he was declared internationally wanted.
As a result of coordinated efforts between Uzbek and UAE law enforcement agencies through Interpol channels, the suspect was located and detained in the UAE. He was then extradited to Uzbekistan to face further investigative procedures.
