Uzbekistan puts up for sale strategic mineral deposits for first time

Information on the sites of strategic minerals, which can be purchased through an online auction, is posted on the E-IJRO AUKSION portal. There are gold, uranium, copper, silver, tungsten, tin, manganese and other types of minerals in the subsoil plots put up for auction.

In accordance with Resolution No. 403 of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to further improve the procedure for issuing licenses for subsoil use”, dated June 23, 2020, the State Committee for Geology placed 34 strategic types of mineral deposits on the online portal E-IJRO AUKSION.

Now all foreign and domestic investors, Internet users can remotely see the location of strategic deposits and promising areas in the territory of Uzbekistan through the platform E-IJRO AUKSION, get acquainted with the basic information about the land, acquire the right to use these deposits through participation in the auction.

Subsoil plots put up for electronic online auction have gold, uranium, copper, silver, tungsten, tin, manganese and other types of minerals. Licensing of business entities for the right to use subsoil plots is carried out on the basis of electronic tenders.
