Murat Kamalov becomes Senate Deputy Chair
Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of Karakalpakstan Murat Kamalov has been elected Deputy Chairperson of the Senate of Oliy Majlis.
At the eighth plenary session of the Senate, the issue of electing the Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Oliy Majlis was considered.
There is a constitutional norm that one of the deputy speakers of the Senate should represent the Republic of Karakalpakstan. “Therefore, the proposal to elect Senator Murat Kamalov to the post of Deputy Chairman of the Senate has been submitted by the President,” Tanzila Narbayeva said.
It should be recalled that in September this year, Kamalov was elected a deputy of the Jokargy Kenes of Karakalpakstan, and on October 2, at the eighth extraordinary session with the participation of the President, he was elected Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes.
