No citizen of Uzbekistan was injured in the earthquake that hit Turkey’s Izmir – MFA
An earthquake in the Aegean Sea has destroyed homes in the Izmir province of western Turkey.
According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, as of 19:30 Tashkent time, there are no citizens of Uzbekistan among those killed or injured in the natural disaster.
It is noted that the Embassy in Ankara and the Consulate General in Istanbul have established contact with the operational headquarters of Izmir province.
“In case of any information on injured compatriots, please contact the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul (+90 212-323-20-36/37),” the Foreign Ministry said.
Earlier, the Turkish Interior Minister specified that at least six houses had collapsed in Izmir.
