Uzbekistan's new ambassador presents credentials to South Korean President
Alisher Abdusalomov, Uzbekistan’s newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to South Korea, formally presented his credentials to South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol.
At the meeting, President Yoon welcomed Ambassador Abdusalomov and wished him success in his efforts to strengthen the partnership between Uzbekistan and South Korea.
The appointment of Ambassador Abdusalomov was announced on August 29, following a decision to enhance bilateral ties in key areas of cooperation.
Uzbekistan’s Embassy in Seoul highlighted the significance of this diplomatic exchange, noting that the new ambassador’s mission aligns with both countries' commitment to advancing shared interests and fostering closer economic and cultural relations.
With this official accreditation, Ambassador Abdusalomov is expected to take an active role in furthering the strategic cooperation between the two nations across various sectors.
