Luxembourg appoints its first ambassador to Uzbekistan
Luxembourg has appointed Tom Reisen as its first-ever ambassador to Uzbekistan, marking a significant step in diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, welcomed Reisen and congratulated him on his new role during a meeting in Tashkent.
The two officials discussed various topics, including strengthening business connections, enhancing trade cooperation, and bolstering the legal framework for bilateral partnerships.
Saidov emphasized that the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries have substantial work ahead to unlock new opportunities for collaboration.
“Together, our foreign ministries will work to create new avenues for cooperation between our countries,” Saidov noted in a statement on his Telegram channel.
