Umida Tukhtasheva appointed Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency
Umida Tukhtasheva has been appointed Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency – Head of the Public Relations, Appeals and International Cooperation Department, the agency’s press service said.
Prior to her appointment, Tukhtasheva worked as Dean of the Faculty of Criminal Law at the Tashkent State Law University.
Tukhtasheva was born in 1978, in Tashkent and graduated from the Tashkent State Institute of Law (currently, Tashkent State Law University).
To note, the Anti-Corruption Agency was established this summer. It is a specially authorized state body for the development and implementation of state policy for preventing corruption.
