New khokim appointed for Bukhara region
Botir Zaripov has been appointed the acting khokim of the Bukhara region.

Prior to his current appointment, Zaripov worked as the Board Chairman of the “O’zsanoatqurilishmateriallari” Association.
Botir Zaripov was born in 1969. In 1997, he graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Finance.
In 1990-2008, he worked in various positions in state and commercial banks of the Republic. From 2008 to 2012, he was Vice-President of the Central Bank.
In 2012-2013, he headed the Department of Supervision and Regulation of Non-bank Credit Organizations at the Central Bank. Later, he became director of the Department of Licensing and Regulation of Credit Organizations of the Central Bank.
In addition, in 2015-2016 he was the first deputy chairman of the board of Agrobank.
To remind, Karim Kamalov, the acting khokim of the Bukhara region, died in August this year.
Later, Farhod Umarov was appointed acting khokim of the region.
