Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover hits $37 billion in first half of 2025
According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $37 billion from January to June 2025.
This figure represents an increase of $5.1 billion, or 16.1%, compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan’s exports amounted to $16.9 billion, while imports reached $20.1 billion.
Uzbekistan maintained trade relations with 194 countries around the world during this period.
The largest shares in the country’s foreign trade turnover were attributed to:
- China – 17.7%
- Russia – 16.3%
- Kazakhstan – 6%
- Turkey – 3.6%
- Republic of Korea – 2.3%
