Kamilov talks with Chairman of the Supreme Council for National Reconciliation of Afghanistan
On November 11, the Foreign Affairs Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulaziz Kamilov, met with the Chairman of the Supreme Council for National Reconciliation of Afghanistan.
During the meeting, the diplomats discussed the current state of multifaceted Uzbek-Afghan relations and prospects for their further intensification in various areas, the MFA press service reports.
The parties exchanged views on important aspects of establishing lasting peace in Afghanistan, as well as ensuring regional security.
Special attention was paid to developing trade and economic cooperation between the two countries through joint investment and infrastructure projects in the areas of transport, logistics, energy, trade and education.
The discussion indicated the importance of intensifying Afghanistan’s involvement in the integration processes in Central Asia in order to achieve peace and stability in the IRA as soon as possible.
