Sherzod Toshmatov becomes NOC Vice-President
The General Assembly of the National Olympic Committee convened on Monday, November 16. During the session, Sherzod Toshmatov, Chairman of the Uzbekistan Taekwondo WTF Association, was elected Vice-President of the committee.
In addition to his new responsibility as the NOC Vice-President, Toshmatov also serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Uzbekistan MMA Association.
Sherzod Toshmatov was born on June 5, 1979, in the city of Tashkent. He graduated from the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
From 2014 to 2019, he served as the First Deputy Chairman of the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan.
In 2019, Toshmatov was elected Chairman of the Uzbekistan Taekwondo WTF Association.
