Alisher Maksudov appointed Chairman of State Committee for Ecology

In accordance with a relevant presidential decree, Alisher Maksudov has been appointed Chairman of the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection.

Previously it was reported that the deputies of the Legislative Chamber approved the candidacy of Maksudov for the post of Ecology Committee Chairman.

Prior to his appointment, Maksudov chaired JSC Uzpakhtasanoat.

Alisher Maksudov was born in 1974. In 1996, he graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, and in 2003 – from the Tashkent State University of Economics.

It should be recalled that on September 25, the former Chairman of the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection Shavkat Abdurazzakov was appointed acting khokim of the Namangan region.
