Ministry of Energy denies rumors about cement plants being disconnected from electricity supply
The Energy Ministry of Uzbekistan has denied rumors that cement plants were disconnected from the supply of electricity.
“The Ministry of Energy warns of the false rumors about the electricity cuts in cement producing plants. The supply of electricity to the above-mentioned plants has not been interrupted,” the press service of the ministry reports.
It is noted that some social media pages have circulated this unfounded information on November 25. “Those who disseminate such false reports must understand that their act entails liability in accordance with the law,” the press service noted.
