Employees of an ambulance center in Samarkand demand $800 from an individual to help with employment as a nurse
In Samarkand, two employees of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care demanded $800 from an individual who wanted to help his acquaintance get hired as a nurse in the medical facility, the press service of the Samarkand regional police department said.
“On November 27, the Samarkand regional police department received an appeal from citizen S.I., who asked to take legal action against two employees of the Samarkand branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care. They demanded $800 from the man who asked to help his acquaintance get employed as a nurse,” the statement reads.
On the same day, officers of the Department for Combating Corruption and Economic Crimes detained these persons while receiving $800.
