Exchange rate of US dollar in commercial banks up
The exchange rate of the US dollar has considerably increased in commercial banks starting Thursday morning.

A number of banks have set the purchase rate at 10,420-10,450 soums and the sale at 10,500 soums. The last time the US currency exchange rate in banks rose sharply in November (purchase – 10,390 soums, sales – 10,430 soums).
Earlier on December 15, the Central Bank announced new exchange rates of foreign currencies against the soum, in accordance with which the official exchange rate of the dollar increased by 20.05 soums and amounted to 10,463.12 soums per dollar.
