“There are almost no coronavirus patients left in Uzbekistan” – Deputy PM
Deputy Prime Minister Behzod Musayev spoke about the situation with the coronavirus in Uzbekistan.
According to Kun.uz correspondent, at the opening ceremony of the “Tashkent Youth Forum – 2020”, Musayev congratulated the youth on the forum and spoke about the fight against coronavirus in Uzbekistan.
“From the first day the virus was registered in Uzbekistan, the head of state set us specific tasks. We have done our best to achieve the main goal – to treat the patients and ensure the wellbeing of the people.
During the pandemic, lots of funds were directed to the healthcare system, more than the money allocated to the sphere in the past 30 years.
The medicines needed to treat this disease were delivered from every part of the world. Specialists were attracted from abroad. As a result, there are almost no coronavirus patients left in Uzbekistan today,” Behzod Musayev said.
