New deputy khokim appointed for Syrdarya region

Avazkhon Ergashev has been appointed deputy khokim of the Syrdarya region on agriculture and water management, the regional administration reported.

Prior to his appointment, Avazkhon Ergashev was khokim of the Kurgantepa district, Andijan region.

He will replace Komiljon Sobirov, who was recently transferred to the post of deputy khokim of the Khorezm region in charge of agriculture and water management.

It should be noted that Avazkhon Ergashev has worked as the khokim of the Kurgantepa district for 16 years.
