“People arriving in Uzbekistan from abroad will have to take express tests starting Dec 25” – Special Republican Commission
In accordance with the relevant decision of the Special Republican Commission, starting from December 25, persons entering the territory of Uzbekistan will have to take an express test for coronavirus.
Express testing is carried out at airports, railway stations and border checkpoints at the expense of visitors.
According to the order, even those who have a PCR test certificate with negative results for coronavirus will be asked to take the express test.
When the express test results are positive, patients are placed in medical facilities that are specialized in the treatment of coronavirus infection or referred for treatment at home.
“Based on the above information, our compatriots and foreign nationals planning to visit Uzbekistan will be asked to take into account the new procedure for crossing the state border, which will be introduced from December 25, 2020,” the report said.
