Mild earthquake hits Uzbekistan
Mild tremors were felt in Uzbekistan on December 26 at 15:28, after an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 hit Kyrgyzstan, the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring under the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
According to the RCSPM, the depth of the quake was 10 km, coordinates: 40.19 degrees north latitude; 71.66 degrees east longitude. The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 238 km in the southeast direction.
