Salaries, allowances and stipends to increase by 10% from February 1
On December 30, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on the implementation of the law On the State Budget of Uzbekistan for 2021.
According to the document, from February 1, 2021, the salary of employees of budgetary organizations, allowances and stipends will increase by 10%.
In addition, from February 1, 2021, the minimum payout for labor (MPL) in the republic will be 747.3 thousand soums (currently 679.3 thousand soums) per month.
The appendix of the document also establishes the amount of allowances for families with children under 14 years old and allowances for caring for a child under 2 years old, material assistance to low-income families and one-time material assistance to needy families in Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region.
It should be recalled that the last time in Uzbekistan the MPL was increased on February 1, 2020.
