U-turn near the Pushkin subway station in Tashkent reopens for traffic

The U-turn near the Pushkin subway station in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district has been opened. The road was closed for traffic 5 years ago.

According to the press service of the Tashkent State Department of Internal Affairs, the road has been opened for the convenience of the residents and guests of the capital.

“Taking into account the numerous requests of the drivers, two years ago the Tashkent State Department of Internal Affairs launched an initiative to open the road. Together with the Tashkent city administration, the Tashkent Road Safety Department continues to implement this project,” the report says.

The U-turn near the metro Pushkin was closed in 2015.
